We have three co-curricular clubs that run in the Design and Technology Department:
Green Fingers Club
This club runs on Monday lunchtimes and is led by Miss Williamson. The focus of the club is on ecology, sustainability and designing within the natural environment. This club is open to all year groups in the Senior School.
Young Engineers’ Club
This club runs on Friday lunchtimes and is led by Mr Kew and Miss Blyth. This year, the club is focussing on the Airgineers Drone Building Competition. The girls will be learning advanced CADCAM skills to design and build thier own racing drones, which we then hope to race. The club is predominantly for Years 8 and 9 pupils and there is space for 10 pupils.
More details of the Airgineers Competition can be found here.
Technical Textiles Club
This club is led by Miss Hartley and gives girls the opportunity to design and make wearable technology by fusing textiles technology and electronics. The club is open to Years 7, 8 and 9.
