Fungi – what a great but often forgotten kingdom they are.

A great activity for all the family this half term break would be to go looking for fungi in the countryside. Leith Hill is a great spot for them especially during the Autumn months, I spotted 46 different species there on the 5th October! (see edited highlights in powerpoint attached)

BUT – Fungi can be very poisonous so make sure you don’t touch them, just look enjoy and sap a photograph or 60.
